I’ve been exploring the great path of Paganism for about a year now. Before that I claimed spiritual but not religious, which I still claim much of the time due to the stigmatism that is associated with the word pagan.  The line between spirituality and religion can be hard to see, but I believe there is a distinction. I still focus more on spirituality than religion with Paganism. I love the basic philosophies of Paganism – live a balanced life in harmony with the Earth and its inhabitants, take responsibility for yourself and your actions, do love rather than harm, etc. Before spiritual but not religious I was an Independent Fundemental Baptist (IFB for short). Being raised IFB left many scars, but the longer I’m away from it the more I can heal and open my heart and mind.
